Kick-A$$ Cran Ribs

Ingredients: 

 

1 Rack Duroc Pork Baby Back Ribs

 

Brushfire Farms Cranberry Pepper Sauce

 

Meat Church Holy Voodoo Seasoning

 

Schilo’s Hot Mustard

 

Smoke Shack BBQ Sauce or your favorite BBQ Sauce

 

3 Tbsp. Butter

 

Apple Cider Vinegar

 

Spray Bottle

 

Foil

 

Mesquite Wood Chips

 

Process: 

 

1.      Build coals in grill or smoker to reach temperature of 300 degrees and place mesquite chips in coals or wood for smoke with vents fully open.  Continue to put wood chips on coals or wood every 20 minutes to ensure a good smoke.  Disregard if using a pellet smoker.

 

2.     Rub both sides of Ribs with 2 Tbsp. of Schilo’s Hot Mustard and then season both sides with Meat Church Holy Voodoo.

 

3.     Place on grill or smoker away from the heat source for indirect cooking and allow to cook for 30 minutes.  After 30 minutes, fill spray bottle with Apple Cider Vinegar and spray ribs two times for the next hour. 

 

4.     In a small mixing bowl, combine and then whisk together ½ Cup Cranberry Pepper Sauce and Smoke Shack BBQ Sauce. 

 

5.     Tear off two sheets of foil roughly 3 ft. in length, place on top of each other for a double layer of foil, and place 3 Tbsp. of Butter and 4-5 Tbsp. of the Cranberry Pepper / BBQ Sauce.    

 

6.     Place Ribs meat side down and wrap tightly in foil.  Place back on smoker for another hour. 

 

7.     Pull ribs off smoker, unwrap and brush a thin layer of Cranberry

Pepper BBQ Sauce on them.  Place back on smoker for another 20 minutes to allow sauce to get sticky and then remove from smoker. 

 

8.     Slice and serve and Enjoy!!!
